Issue No. 5 of Mascular Magazine was dedicated to Black. We wanted to see how artists would respond to black - the absence of light and lack of color. Would these constraints reveal something new? Would they pare down the creative language and reveal something unexpected? The answer is yes, but perhaps not as you might expect.
