Issue No. 23 of MASCULAR Magazine was about HISTORY. ​ Who are we? Where do we come from? What’s made us this way? The answers to these and many other questions reference the past. We look back on experiences or on times well beyond the scope of our memories to assess where we’ve got to. We are shaped by time. We also evaluate today through the lenses of past aesthetics, constructs, and societies. MASCUALR Magazine asked contributors from around the world to share not only their histories. but to reflect on how we, as creatives, respond to the past. Does it influence our work? Do we embrace it or are we in a battle to erase it and move on?
